Parts of Ladle Mechanism
Sliding gate nozzle mechanism is a kind of molten steel flow control device installed at the bottom of ladle. Through its structure, the frames of the related refractory materials in the steel flow channel are connected. Its basic structure consists of three parts: the fixed part (base and bracket), the moving part (sliding plate) and the driving assembly. The base is connected to the ladle reference plate. The upper water nozzle and the upper sliding plate are fixed in the base without movement. The lower sliding plate and the lower water nozzle are fixed in the slide block and move back and forth along with the slide block, and the elastic pressure is transmitted to the joint of materials. The driving assembly of the driving source pushes and pulls the slider back and forth, so that the refractory (lower part) in the slider moves relatively to the refractory (upper part) in the base, completely or partially shielding the steel flow, and realizing the control of the molten steel flow.
